FlipSide is a water sports park located in Oak Mountain State Park in Birmingham, Alabama.

The owners came to me in the beginning to design a logo, when the business was mainly focused on their 2.0 Cable tow System. They had already decided on the name FlipSide but needed a logo that not only was recognizable but could also be made in to stickers easily for rental equipment and advertising. The cable is a two tower system that pulls riders across the top of the water on their preferred equipment, mainly wakeboards. At each end the rider turns around and can ride indefinitely without stopping. In the logo I wanted to both portray the rhythm of the turns and aspect of the non-stop aspect. I chose and Infinity symbol to portray this and added in the arrow to show the flow and direction of the ride.
